Implementation of the Teacch Approach on Repetitive Behavior and Limited Interest in Children with Autism

چکیده

One of the main disorders in children with autism is repetitive behavior and limited interest. The purpose this study was to describe 1) planning, 2) implementation 3) evaluation TEACCH approach on interests autism. research method uses a qualitative design case approach. Data were obtained through observation documentation, open questionnaires discussions therapists caregivers at Autism Therapy Unit Bhkati Luhur Malang. Results: Planning: there training find out approach, recurrent autism, impact handling strategies, implementations are; Structuring environment, assessment, making visual programs schedules, regular structured collaborative intervention Evaluation: Children are more organized, independent, increased receptive communication, focused, control emotions, confident. Some severe disabilities still need some assistance.
